ADULT

For your first visit to our dental office we perform a Complete Evaluation before any other treatment is performed. As part of our philosophy to be complete and thorough with all of our patients, we do not schedule “cleanings” before an adult patient has a complete exam because having a cleaning is treatment and we believe our patients deserve to be properly and thoroughly diagnosed before any treatment is performed.

A Complete Exam Appointment in our office consists of the following:

• Interview
• Complete set of cavity detecting digital x-ray or films and intraoral pictures or films
• Tempromandibular Joint (TMJ) or Jaw Joint Examination
• Tooth by Tooth Exam to check for cavities and condition of existing dental work

CHILD EXAM
First time appointment for your child ages 3-18 years.

• Child Cleaning and Exam
  Although every child is unique, the first professional cleaning should happen around the age of 3 years. X-rays will be taken as needed and tolerated. A thorough cleaning will be done. A fluoride treatment will be given and specific oral hygiene instructions will be covered.
